OUR MISSION

George Clifford Newbold Foundation

It is the mission and purpose of the GC Newbold Foundation to provide scholarships to young men and women of documented Native American descent.  Regardless of blood quantum, any applicant who has displayed academic ability, commitment, and growth and who has provided upstanding service to their native community's ideals and heritage are eligible.  We hope that obtaining an advanced education will help facilitate a successful applicant's leadership skills, skills for a lifetime of productivity and dignity and bolster the service they can provide to their native populations.

WHAT WE DO

Furthering the Education of Students with Native American Heritage

This foundation was established with the goal of awarding a yearly scholarship to qualified students of Native American heritage to further their education. We encourage all fields of study and strongly favor fields of business and education for the benefit and betterment of a student's community.

Grants are renewable based on demonstrated achievement in studies and the ongoing recommendation of their educators.

Preference will be given to those students with Lenni Lenape heritage and to those who are current New Jersey residents, however, these factors are not a restriction. All interested and motivated students with Native American heritage will be considered.

Be Bold! >

While a specific dollar value award is our goal, the number of yearly scholarships granted, their value and renew-ability are dependent upon the fund meeting specific investment objectives annually.
